1. INSTALL, OPEN, AND ORIENT THE APP
After installing ConvertIQ AI Bundles, open it from your Shopify admin Apps menu. The Dashboard gives you the setup guide, at-a-glance performance, suggested drafts, top bundles, and recent activity. Use the left app navigation to move between Dashboard, Bundles, Analytics, A/B testing, and Billing. Before you publish anything, the best next step is to create a draft bundle and make sure the storefront bundle block is ready in your theme.
2. CHOOSE THE RIGHT PLAN WITHOUT SLOWING DOWN SETUP
Your plan controls how far you can scale bundle campaigns. Basic is built for simple bundle offers with up to five active bundles, fixed bundles, mix-and-match, multipacks, the storefront block, and basic analytics. Standard unlocks guided bundles, smart recommendations, AI bundle ideas, cart insight prompts, rescue prompts, scheduled campaigns, advanced analytics, and custom CSS. Premium gives you unlimited active bundles, higher AI bundle idea capacity, and A/B testing. Start with the plan that fits your current campaign, then upgrade when a locked feature supports a real revenue goal.
3. CREATE YOUR FIRST BUNDLE FROM A TEMPLATE
The fastest way to build a bundle is to start from a template. Open Bundles, click Create bundle, and choose the template that matches your campaign. Starter kit creates a fixed bundle. Pick any X creates a mix-and-match offer. Routine builder and Gift set create guided flows where your plan allows. Multipack helps shoppers stock up with tiered savings. Goal templates help you grow average order value or clear inventory quickly. After choosing a template, review the draft before adding products.
4. CREATE A FIXED BUNDLE TUTORIAL
A fixed bundle is best when shoppers should buy a curated set of products together. Start with a fixed template or custom fixed bundle, then add the bundle name, subtitle, badge text, and image. In Bundle configuration, choose the exact product variants that belong in the bundle and set quantities where needed. Then configure pricing, review the storefront preview, and save the draft before publishing.
5. CREATE A MIX-AND-MATCH BUNDLE TUTORIAL
Mix-and-match bundles let shoppers choose from a pool of products while still following your rules. Choose the Pick any X template, then select products, variants, or collections that shoppers can pick from. Set the minimum, maximum, and required count so the offer is clear. Use discount tiers to reward larger bundles, and enable smart recommendations where available so the app can suggest useful products based on your selected items.
6. CREATE A MULTIPACK OR QUANTITY BREAKS DISCOUNT TUTORIAL
A multipack is best when shoppers are buying more of the same type of item. Choose the Multipack template, then select the product variants or collection shoppers can buy from. Set selection rules so the pack size is controlled, then create tiers like two units, three units, and four units. Review the storefront preview to make sure the tier messages are clear before saving.
7. CREATE A GUIDED BUNDLE TUTORIAL
Guided bundles are useful when shoppers need a step-by-step buying flow, such as a routine, kit, or gift set. Choose Routine builder or Gift set where your plan allows. In Customers buy, create each required section, add eligible products, and decide whether shoppers make one selection or multiple selections. Add optional add-ons when you want to increase basket value after the core bundle is complete. Contribution points power guided bundle tiers, so review tier requirements before publishing.
8. CONFIGURE PRICING, FREE GIFTS, AND FREE SHIPPING
Pricing controls what the shopper earns when they complete the bundle. Open Pricing and placement, then choose percent off, fixed price, or no base discount depending on the campaign. For mix-and-match and multipack bundles, use tiers so shoppers unlock better savings as they add more items. Add free gifts or free shipping when those perks fit the offer. Review the discount combinations section so the bundle works correctly with other Shopify discounts.
9. CONTROL WHERE THE BUNDLE APPEARS
Placement decides where shoppers see the bundle. In Pricing and placement, choose the products that should show this offer on the product page. Use placement carefully so fixed bundles appear on the most relevant product pages, while mix-and-match and guided bundles are attached to the products that naturally start the buying journey. After saving placement, publish the bundle and confirm that the theme block is added to your product template.
10. USE SMART RECOMMENDATIONS WHILE BUILDING TUTORIAL
Smart recommendations help you expand a bundle without guessing. After selecting seed products in the editor, open the Suggested bundle products panel. ConvertIQ shows products that may pair well with your current selection. Review each suggestion, check the available variants, and add the products that make the bundle stronger. If recommendations are locked on your plan, use the panel as a sign that the next plan can speed up bundle creation.
11. SCHEDULE A BUNDLE CAMPAIGN
Scheduling helps you prepare campaigns before they go live. Open the schedule section in the editor and enable automatic activation, automatic deactivation, or both. Set the start date when the bundle should become active, then set the end date if the campaign is limited-time. If scheduling is locked on your plan, keep the bundle in draft and activate it manually when the campaign starts.
12. ENABLE CART RECOVERY AND RESCUE PROMPTS TUTORIALS
Cart recovery and rescue prompts help shoppers finish a bundle when they are close to unlocking value. In the editor, open Cart recovery and enable it where your plan allows. Then open Rescue prompts and turn on the prompt. Set the title, behavior, display mode, description, and button text. Use the preview to confirm the message is clear and helpful, then save the bundle.
13. STYLE THE STOREFRONT BUNDLE BLOCK TUTORIAL
Layout Design controls how your bundle block looks on the storefront. Open the layout design area for a bundle, then choose a design template or start from custom settings. Switch between column-based and row-based layouts, adjust colors and text, control media and visible components, and review behavior settings like progress messages or cart insight. Use the live preview while editing so the design stays readable before saving.
14. PUBLISH WITH THE THEME APP EXTENSION
Publishing a bundle makes it eligible for the storefront, but the theme block must also be present on your product template. Open Publish and storefront preview, save any required changes, and activate the bundle. Then open the Shopify theme editor for a product template and add the ConvertIQ bundle block. The block uses the app proxy path by default, so most stores can keep the default setting. Save the theme and preview a product that matches the bundle placement.
15. COMPLETE THE SHOPPER STOREFRONT EXPERIENCE
Before launching a campaign, test the storefront like a shopper. Open a product page where the bundle should appear and wait for the bundle block to load. Select products or variants, watch the progress and tier messages, add optional add-ons if the bundle has them, and confirm the call to action changes when the bundle is complete. Add the bundle to cart and check that the correct items and discounts are applied.
16. MANAGE BUNDLES FROM THE WORKSPACE TUTORIAL
The Bundles workspace is where you manage bundle campaigns after creation. Use search to find a bundle by name, then filter by active, draft, or archived status. Open a bundle to edit it, duplicate a proven offer when you want a variant, archive a bundle when it should stop showing, or remove draft and archived bundles you no longer need. Use bulk actions when you are cleaning up multiple bundles at once.
17. READ ANALYTICS AND FIND PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES TUTORIAL
Analytics shows how bundle campaigns are performing. Choose a time range, bundle focus, and trend granularity. Review the KPI cards for revenue, purchases, impressions, add-to-cart, conversion rate, and rescued revenue. Use the trend explorer to compare metrics over time, then check the bundle funnel and rescue acceptance sections. Finally, review bundle-level analytics to find the offers that are driving revenue or losing shoppers.
18. RUN AN A/B TEST FOR BUNDLE OFFERS TUTORIAL
A/B testing helps you compare two bundle offers on real storefront traffic. Open A/B testing and click Create test. Name the test, choose the winner metric, select Bundle A and Bundle B, then split traffic between them. After saving, monitor the results panel for leader, revenue per impression, conversion rate, total revenue, add-to-cart rate, paid gross revenue, discount savings, cart abandonment, and recovered revenue. Stop or delete tests when you are done.
19. END-TO-END LAUNCH CHECKLIST
Use this checklist before every launch. Confirm the bundle type matches the campaign goal. Check products, variants, collections, quantities, selection rules, and guided sections. Review pricing, discount tiers, free gifts, free shipping, and discount combinations. Confirm placement targets, schedule, cart recovery, and rescue prompts. Customize the storefront design, publish the bundle, add the theme block, and test the shopper flow. After launch, monitor analytics and A/B testing if your plan supports it.
